Muduni is a collaborative design studio founded in 2018 by architects Ghida Khayat and Ahmad Baydoun. Our practice involves critical research, design, and implementation to achieve innovative, distinct and site-specific solutions.

Our approach is grounded in a curious, critical, and inventive design process that allows us to investigate new ways of approaching existing and upcoming challenges.

We design solutions that are integrative and activated within their urban context. We believe that architecture must be in harmony with its surroundings, and that the design must be inspired by the context, climate and culture of its environment. We are committed to a design process that embraces its context, and seeks to engage in a dialogue with the community and its cultural and socioeconomic attributes.

Ghida Khayat is the founder of Muduni and has been practicing architecture since 2017. She is based between Dubai and London. Ghida has completed her Masters in Architecture - Design Research Laboratory (DRL) - at the Architectural Association in London in 2021. During her time at the Architectural Association, Ghida explored cutting-edge design methodologies and computational tools that are reshaping the field of architecture. Her research focused on the use of machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence in the design process. ︎︎
